We are so proud to live in a City where the citizens care enough to come together and put the necessary time and effort in to maintain the health, safety and welfare of the community and their neighbors. We are also grateful to the Mayor, City Council and Staff for all the time and energy it took to learn everything they needed to make an educated decision. How rare it is to have Council Members who are willing to listen and spend time on the details of such a complex issue! Some towns in the Metroplex are not as privileged as we are; to be treated with respect and patience even after long hours at Council meetings. Be sure to let them know you are thankful for their efforts, intelligence and diligence.

  • Remain vigilant and aware of the issues in your City. Visit the City of Corinth website and check out the agenda for meetings regularly. You can find them in the left margin under “Agendas and Minutes”. We know this may be but a short respite and we may need to act again.

  • Get out and VOTE in local elections! If you haven’t figured this out by now, your local government has a greater impact on your daily life than the state or national government; yet the number of voters for local elections remain low. Change your voting habits now! There are City Council and School Board elections EVERY YEAR in May. Participate!

Thank you again!

Go see Gasland at the Fort Worth Modern Museum of Art on May 12th. If you can’t make the movie at least donate to provide support to OGAP, the organization which helps N. Texas communities fight battles like yours. Here is the link to RSVP:
